A Great Way to End the Year

The Kings said good riddance to a terrible 2010 (except for Tyreke winning Rookie of the Year), with this great buzzer beater. In the words of Shaquille O'neal: "One lucky shot, deserves another." Maybe it will be the start to a better 2011.

In All Fairness...

He does look like a little sporting goods sales-chump.

Of course he's actually this guy:

Farewell 2010 from JibJab

This is classic. The year in politics:

Here's Something You Don't See Everyday

This was pretty awesome...last nights game the Packers tried a squib kick to end the half and 313 Pound O-Lineman Dan Connolly returns it to the 4 yard line. This actually ended up being the difference in the game.

New Jersey Nets Brooklyn New Yorkers Logo?

So the Nets are moving to Brooklyn next year, this an awesome logo idea for the Brooklyn New Yorkers.

A Hand Model? Really?

Maybe she should get it cryogenically frozen like the dude from Zoolander. This is ridiculous:

SNL: Obama and His Stockholm Syndrome

SNL was really weak this weekend (especially for having Paul Rudd), but this was the one funny sketch.

Jon Stewart on QE2

I'm not much of a fan of Jon Stewart, but this is funny:

Uh-Oh

Jim Rome has been using the 'uh-oh' part of this clip on his show for a few months now, and it reminded me to use post it.

This is by far the worst rendition of the national anthem, by one of Americas greatest sports stars...embarrassing:

Oregon Helmets

Oregon has always been my favorite college football team and their helmets last week were out of control. The best helmets I have ever seen. I hope they wear these ones when they beat the Auburn Cheaters Tigers for the National Championship in Glendale, AZ in a few weeks. GO DUCKS!!

Here are the helmets:

Jay Pharoah's Got Talent

Even though this season of SNL has sucked so far, there is one new member of the cast that stands out. Jay Pharoah. His impressions are hilarious. Here he is on Letterman. He's pretty funny, and the impressions are spot on:

Sacramento Kings Minutes Played

This is pretty cool, it's a word cloud of the Sacramento Kings, based on minutes played. The bigger the name, the more minutes they played, check it out:

Dougie Watch: Drew Stanton

The most recent public display of Dougie was done yesterday by Drew Stanton (Yep, THAT Drew Stanton, the 3rd string QB for the Lions).

This Was a Sign from A Cleveland Sports Bar

Probably a good call.

Lebron Will "Continue With His Greatness"

Lebron told Craig Sager, "I'm just gonna continue the greatness for myself." (at the 1:15ish mark)

Then went on to say he, "doesn't want to apologize" for the way it ended in Cleveland.

LeBron's Return

HE'S BAAACK....Cavs fans have had this matchup circled and highlighted with big arrows poiting to it, ever since he made a public spectacle out of taking his talents to South Beach.

Time to rock n' roll , I'm excited to see the fans reactions, and whether LeBron will be able to rise above it. Something inside of me wants to see this arrogant A-hole have a terrible game. BUT if he went off for 50, 15, and 15 that would be telling as well.

Mike Hucakbee on Unemployment Benefits

Is there any problem with this? Making people work for their unemployment, instead of being able to sit at home and collect? Novel concept. (it shouldn't be)

Huckabee, who served for 10 1/2 years as Arkansas' governor, suggested that if Congress passes unemployment extensions this week the rules should include measures similar to what is occurring in the United Kingdom under its coalition government.
"You show up every Monday morning at 8 o'clock," he said. "You will either pick up trash or you will tutor in a school ... you will do something from 8 in the morning until four or five that afternoon like everyone else who is getting a check."
