A Trip Down Memory Lane

In a time when the right is hearing it from the left about the tea partying and the ridiculousness of their demonstrations, I thought this video did an excellent job of highlighting how much hypocrisy still exists among the left.

Way To Go Nets!!

With their win over the San Antonio Spurs, the NJ Nets secured their 10th win this season, meaning they won't be the all-time worst team in NBA history.

This Shouldn't Surprise Anyone

John Daly started a pizza company. This shouldn't surprise anyone, what should surprise people is how long it took to actually happen.

John Daly Pizza

Yep, the same guy who is often seeing peeing off the side of the course during play, tried to sell some golf clubs along the street on the way into the masters, is always drunk, and teed off a beer can in a pro-am event:

Obama's NCAA Brackets

Tyreke Evans Higlight Reel.

I meant to post this a few days ago, but couldn't find it. It's a nice highlight reel of Tyreke's 1st year in the league:

What are you St. Patty's Day Plans?

I wrote a list of mine...

My 2010 March Madness Bracket

Ok, Here it is. I may change right before games start, but this is what I have.
Kansas, Syracuse, Duke, and West Virginia in the Final 4.

Kansas to win it over Duke in a score of 76-70.

My Picks:

March Madness - Bracket Challenge

It's that time of year...one of my favorite times. March Madness, it's almost the equivalent of christmas to me. I talk a lot with friends that I rarely talk throughout the year about the brackets the chances the 17,000 pools I am in. etc etc.

Now that I have a blog, I thought it would be cool to show my actual bracket (although I'm in multiple pools, I submit just one bracket). I can't stand when people enter 50 different pools and fill brackets out differently in each, it's the ultimate fence sitting. You're bound to have called that "crazy upset" in one of your brackets.

So, I will put my picks up in the next post, but I also wanted to track the computer generated brackets to see if they do better than me. I will track 2. One that was generated via accuscore on the ESPN website and the other using a Georgia Tech professor's program called LRMC

I haven't studied LRMC brackets, but did notice they have the same Championship game as me and the same final 4. The ESPN one, is not even close to my brackets.

Here are the brackets for each,
Accuscore:

Kobe vs. Toby

Clearly, both Kobe and my dog Toby have a couple similar characteristics...they both have a killer instinct, but more importantly, they both like to hump legs.

2 of the best inventions ever?

Ladies and gentlemen I present to you: The Beer belly and the wine rack. AWESOME!

This is perfect for all the venues that sell $10-$15 beers.

NCAA 1st Team All Americans

This is my guess, let's see how close I am:

1st Team:
G: John Wall (Kentucky), Scottie Reynolds (Villanova)
F: Evan Turner (Ohio State), Deshaun Butler (West Virginia)
C: DeMarcus Cousins (Kentucky)

2nd Team:
G: Sherron Collins (Kansas), Greivis Vasquez (Maryland)
F: Wesley Johnson (Syracuse), James Anderson (Oklahoma State)
C: Greg Monroe (Georgetown)

Player of the year: Evan Turner (Ohio State)
Coach of the Year: Jim Boeheim (Syracuse)
Freshman of the Year: John Wall (Kentucky)

There are really only 2 I would bet my house on: Coach of the year and Freshman of the year.

Instead of Drag Queens or Murderers, Children Should Lookup to Rapists

Wow...this article talks about 3 teachers being suspended for having kids carry pictures of Dennis Rodman, RuPaul and OJ Simpson in a black history month parade. Fair enough.

But what kills me is when the LA School District spokesperson says "the teachers, who are white, could have chosen more appropriate choices such as Oprah Winfrey or Kobe Bryant. "

KOBE BRYANT?!?!?!?! Really? They should look up to a rapist instead...nice job lady. Maybe Tiger Woods? No?
