Fantastic Giants Article
This is great article about SF and the Giants.
"You know what? To all the people who hate “bandwagon” fans? Let it go. Who cares. You know who you are? You’re the guy who liked the Kings of Leon and then got mad when everyone else did. You’re the guy who said “this band is SO good”, and then when someone said, “hey I agree” you said NO YOU DON’T ONLY I CAN LIKE THEM. That’s silly. Knock it off. Let them in. Buy them a beer, or a kombucha. Whatever it is. I don’t care. Just let this happen and stop Eeyoring the crap out of our unlimited happiness we’re on the brink of."

Brian Wilson: NY Times Article
This is a great article about B. Wilson.
In every appearance his approach was the same: focused rage, directed at the guy in the batter’s box. “I don’t have time to be angry away from the field,” he said. “So I brush it off, bottle it up, and drink a tall glass of it before taking the mound.”
“I’d like to be a crossword clue one day,” he said. “I want to be in The New York Times’s Sunday edition. Right now, the clue ‘Giants great’ is always Mel Ott. I want my clue to be down, not across. The down ones are usually harder. And when I’m the clue, I’ll fill it in — just that one — and frame it.

How a Political Ad Should Be...
This is how a political ad should be. It should be a look into their life, their thoughts and their background, and most of all inspiring.
It should not be this mud slinging against each other, or a play on people's fears and emotions. No more of the "Meg Whitman sat on Goldman Sachs board, was CEO of Ebay, etc, etc." (To which I say, good, she had real jobs...she's not a career politician).
It's nice to see a real campaign ad. I might just write him in for my senator, even though he's running in Florida, and I'm in California.

One of the Best Nike Commercials Ever.
This is good...as much as I disagree with how LeBron went...this commercial has a great point...be you...not who others want you to be:

Decoded by JayZ - Out in November
The book by Jay Z "Decoded" comes out November 16th.
It doesn't sound like an autobiography, but more of a compilation of inspirations, stories, etc. Here's what he says about the book:
"When you're famous and say you're writing a book, people assume that it's an autobiography--I was born here, raised there, suffered this, loved that, lost it all, got it back, the end. But that's not what this is. I've never been a linear thinker, which is something you can see in my rhymes. They follow the jumpy logic of poetry and emotion, not the straight line of careful prose. My book is like that, too."

Parachuting into the Big House
This a guy from the 101st Airborne parachuting into Michigan's Big House, the stadium is the largest in the country holding upwards of 110,000...pretty awesome video. It gets really cool around the 2:30 mark.
A History of Rap: Jimmy Fallon, Justin Timberlake & The Roots
I tried to explain this to Mrs. Awesome last night, but words could not do it justice, so I told her to check my blog...kidding. But since I found it, now she can watch it, and so can everyone else that hasn't seen it...Oh, and if it helps ladies, Justin Timberlake is in it.

The Giants!!
The Giants just beat the Braves and now move on the NLCS to play the Phillies. This is the only time of year I like to watch baseball, because wins and losses actually matter. You can't make up for the loss with the other 161 remaining games.
It's great to see the Giants back in the playoffs, here's a nice little video that's been going around in their honor:

This dog is even more awesome than the one I posted a while ago.
I wish Toby could do something other than sit, stay, lay down, and dance.
