What Do Countries Call Themselves

Global Warming a Huge Concern...To Those Who Aren't Wealthy

Guess Global Warming isn't really that huge of an issue, being that the Gore's just bought (for $8.875M) a 5 bedroom, 9 bathroom house...also has 6 fireplaces. Oh and it's not their only house. Doesn't sound environmentally friendly to me.

Taking environmental advice from this fraud is like taking financial advice from a homeless man.

Al Gore, Tipper Gore snap up Montecito-area villa [LA Times]

This is what the Tennessee Center for Policy Research found about his consumption at his main home (that's right he has multiple, and just added one more):

"In the past year, Gore’s home burned through 213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, enough to power 232 average American households for a month.

Since taking steps to make his home more environmentally-friendly last June, Gore devours an average of 17,768 kWh per month –1,638 kWh more energy per month than before the renovations – at a cost of $16,533. By comparison, the average American household consumes 11,040 kWh in an entire year, according to the Energy Information Administration."

Baseball Rain Delay Turns into Talent Show

This is great. While these 2 minor league teams waited for the rain delay, they decided to have some fun.

Tiger Woods Cartoon

Apple rejected this cartoon for one of their apps, because it ridicules a public figure. I, on the other hand, have no shame...

Bango The Buck

Sports mascots are only cool when their stunts put their life in danger. Sorry Slamson, roller skating down the stairs isn't that dangerous. Let's step it up next season huh?

This was pretty sweet:
